The Buckeye Regional competition ended this evening. The team won 6 qualification matches and lost 3. At its peak, Ozone was ranked 7 out of 60 teams. At the end of the qualification matches, we were placed 15th.
Our drive, code, and scouting teams worked very diligently today to make sure our robot would do as well as possible. At the end of the day, Ozone ranked 19 out of 60 teams! We are very proud of everyone involved. Continue reading

Team 4611 has been working extremely hard on the days leading up to the Buckeye Regional competition. On Monday, team members going to Cleveland met to cover room and scouting assignments, and to pack up the pit. The team has expanded upon it’s scouting program from last year, and has created an app that can be used by many different teams to collect match data.
The Buckeye Regional is just over 2 weeks away! Trip goers are prepping for competition and perfecting robot code and mechanisms.
The 2017 FIRST robotics season has come to a close. Our team will be bagging up our robot at midnight tonight, after the drive team has had plenty of time to practice with it. Final modifications were made to the agitator, shooter and gear grabber to help us shoot and handle gears in a more accurate manner. Programmers finished up their autonomous code and fixed minor code errors. Continue reading
